Since 1992 the Institut für Fügetechnische Fertigungsverfahren
(abbr.: IFF GmbH) in Garching near Munich has an advisory activity within
the German industry in the field of adhesive bonding. Besides the development
of adhesive user software (adhesive selection system GlueDo) and the production
and marketing of intelligent testing machines in the field of adhesive
bonding the IFF emphasis particularly on the integration of this joining
technique into the serial production. Furthermore the IFF GmbH has experience
in the organisation of symposiums on bonding technology. This is a result
of the Munich symposium BONDING which has been founded by Professor Habenicht.
This year the 17th symposium took place in Munich. The IFF GmbH also uses
its experience in the organisation of the symposiums on joining techniques
in the building construction industry.
